Congratulations to Nibinamik First Nation for their well-deserved award for the development of a community-led housing policy!

Nora, Walter and Michael were on hand to receive the award on behalf of the community. The FNHC award recognizes communities for their achievements and innovations in housing. The Nibinamik First Nation Housing Policy was created by the community through a series of workshops and meetings over the course of 2017. This award recognizes the time, care and effort the community took in preparing and adopting their policy.
