The together lab team was in Nibinamik to present the approved final draft of the community created housing policy. Copies of the housing policy were brought up to be distributed to each household.

Nibinamik First Nation also hosted its first housing design workshop! Community members of all ages came out to the box city workshop to design and site their ideal home. A giant map, 18 ft by 24 ft, was drawn to scale. Participants constructed and planned housing and shared community spaces.

The workshop was held as part of the housing design process to learn about the type of design and layout that will meet the community's needs. The learning from the workshop will be incorporated into plans for future housing and will help to identify areas for future growth.
